Klaus Bischoff

Klaus Bischoff spielte bei der Deutschen Meisterschaft in Saarbrücken lange oben mit und war heißer Kandidat auf den Titel. Doch nach seiner Niederlage in der 8. Runde schien er aus dem Rennen ausgeschieden. Nun ist Klaus Bischoff doch noch Deutscher Meister geworden, denn in der Schlussrunde spielten alle für ihn. Rasmus Svane und Witaly Kunin trennten sich nach langem Kampf remis und Christian Braun ließ sich von Daniel Friedman nach ebenso langem Kampf auch nicht besiegen.

Dank der besseren Zweitwertung wurde Klaus Bischoff damit nach 2013 zum zweiten Mal Deutscher Meister. Saarbrücken ist offenbar ein gutes Pflaster für den Frankfurter, denn auch 2013 fand die Meisterschaft dort statt.

Neben Rasmus Svane (3.) und Alexander Donchenko (9.) belegten mit Dimitrj Kollars (6.) und dem elfjährigen Vincent Keymer zwei weitere junge Spieler ausgezeichnete Plätze.
