Grand Prix der Frauen in Gibraltar
Die Partie zwischen Abdumalik und Lagno dauerte gerade einmal 14 Züge und war eigentlich nicht der Rede wert. Aber natürlich hat sich die junge Kasachin mit diesem Remis einen großen Erfolg endgültig gesichert. Insofern darf das Spiel hier nicht fehlen. Zur Auflockerung haben wir es mit einer Referenzpartie angereichert, in der ein späterer Weltmeister keine Lust auf Remis hatte.

In der Schwarzpartie von Elisabeth Pähtz gegen Antoaneta Stefanova gab es zwischendrin eine kleine Krise, aber im Läuferendspiel mit einem Minusbauern verteidigte sich die Deutsche dann so souverän, dass für ihre Gegnerin nichts mehr ging.
